Diabolo Menthe

Diabolo menthe is a refreshing bright mint blue, reminiscent of the mint lemondade drink it is named after. It is one of the first bottles of ink I purchased and it holds a special spot in my heart!

This color is very smooth through washes, though it can be built up. Even though it is very light, its saturation is strong, giving it an energetic vibe. I tried to match that in this drawing by squeezing in the essence of summer, from the ice cream background to her rollerskate outfit! The light color does make this ink difficult to read, however, so I would only suggest bold, wet nibs if you're considering this in a pen.
