Dugong Bughaw is a bright, saturated blue with a very strong red/purple sheen. It's a majestic ink befitting of its name, which is Tagolog for blue (royal) blood.
This is an extremely pigmented ink where a little bit goes a long way (both on paper and on my hands...)! In this drawing, I used the strong sheen to highlight the shape of her dress, while keeping the remainder of the artwork in lighter washes, which is a clear blue. In the chromatography test, I only saw blue; It's interesting that an ink that shows such range is made up of just one, maybe two, dyes!
All artworks are drawn by dagneo.
