Heliogen Green-Gold

Heliogen Green is part of De Atramentis' pearlescent line, which infuse inks with various colors of shimmer. This one has gold, but the same green comes in silver and copper as well.

This ink is smooth with very little shading, which sets up a great base for its strong shimmer. It's also very calming to work with in washes because it spreads so evenly. This might be explained by the chromatography, which shows only the gold shimmer and green dye. the shimmer particles appear to be a bit clumpier than most other inks, so I would not use this ink in a fine nib to prevent clogging.
