Vert olive is a lovely yellow-green ink, aptly named after green olives. I was pleasantly surprised by the range of this ink, and how legible and smooth to write it was despite it being quite light.
In full concentration, this ink is a cozy olive green. However, in lighter washes it becomes close to a bright yellow, similar to how olive oil looks in direct sunlight! This range makes the ink very fun to use in a drawing, and I tried to utilize that pop of saturation in this drawing of a girl setting up her olives & pickles pop-up shop. I recommend this in a wider nib that can show off the ink's shading.
