Ambre de Birmanie

Ambre de Birmanie is a mature yellow ochre color that, despite its light value, is soft on your eyes because of its subdued saturation. It’s also known to be a good flowing ink, though most J. Herbin inks have good flow! I find its light washes tend to be a cooler yellow, which makes for interesting color differences in my drawings even when it’s the only ink used.
