Black Ivy

Back ivy was part of Diamine's 2021 advent calendar, but later re-released as part of the Red Edition series in a full size bottle. As it's name suggests, it's a green so deep that it looks black.

Not only is this just a beautiful ink, it's also very smooth to write with and easy to read for daily use. It's dark enough that it's not flashy at a glance, but its subtle green color with tips of red sheen gives this ink an air of mystique. Surprisingly, light washes of this ink fades to more of a refreshing teal color. I tried to use this range of teal to red to add more depth and an ethereal vibe to this drawing of a fallen knight.
