Golden Record

Golden Record is a highly pigmented, bright ochre color fitting of its name. Light washes dry a soft yellow orange, but heavier washes dry to a warm golden brown, almost like freshly baked bread! In writing, this ink shades beautifully from a golden brown to a dark sepia color. The ink seems a little dry, so a wet nib pen may be more ideal to use. For this drawing, I used the sepia tone to try to capture a bit of a nostalgic feeling in the artwork.
