Rouge Caroubier

Rouge Caroubier is a saturated ink, the closest one to a pure red out of the inks I own. You can also see this in the chromatography test, where it’s clear the dye is made of a single color. Though heavy washes and lines dry to a warm red, diluted washes become a slightly cool-tinted pink. I utilized this combination of a cute pink to a pure red to draw a japanese styled new years celebration drawing for the year of the Boar!
